(This photo shows a live 16-week-old baby inside its mother. Many children have been killed by abortion at this stage and even later)

4 months: Child can grasp with hands, swim and turn somersaults.

4-5 months: Mother first feels baby's movements.

5 months: Sleeping habits appear, but a slammed door will provoke activity. Child responds to sounds in frequencies too high or low for adults to hear.

6 months: Fine hair grows on eye brows & head. Eye-lash fringe appears. Weight is about 640g (22 oz.), height 23 cm (9"). Babies born at this age have survived.

7 months: Eye teeth are present. Eyelids open and close, eyes look around. Hands grip strongly. Mother's voice is heard and recognized.

8 months: Weight increases by 1 kg. (over 2 lbs.) and baby's quarters get cramped.

9 months: Child triggers labor and birth occurs, usually 255-275 days after conception. Of 45 generations of cell divisions before adulthood, 41 have taken place. Four more will come during the rest of childhood and adolescence.

Bible verses for your consideration

Psalm 127:3: Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Ecclesiastes 11:5: As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.

Isaiah 49:1: Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

Proverbs 6:16-17: These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

Psalm 139:13-17: For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

(We are God's handiwork. God claims us and knows us even before man's machines can detect our existence. God is the only one who has the right to say whether we live or die!)

Proverbs 14:12: There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 17:15: He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

Jeremiah 1:5: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

2 Samuel 11:5: And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

(Even at conception, it is a child. It is not a blob of nothingneness)

Isaiah 5:20: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 10:1: Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

Isaiah 24:5: The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

(One of God's laws is "Thou shalt not kill." Abortion equals one of God's creations wilfully being torn apart by another of God's creations. The baby's heart is forced to stop beating, which equals death, being killed.)

Deuteronomy 12:31: Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

(In some abortions, a saline solution is used. This solution burns up the child. In 2000 years, things haven't changed! People are still burning their children!)

Luke 1:41-42 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

(Babies are precious "fruit of the womb." They are not worthless trash to be torn apart and thrown in the garbage can.)

AGAIN, HOW ANYONE WHO CALLS THEMSELF A CHRISTIAN, A BELIEVER OF GOD'S WORD, CAN BE FOR ABORTION IS BEYOND MY UNDERSTANDING.

The Inheritance

There was a woman named Jane. One day Jane found out that she had been given a great inheritance. But Jane was not exactly happy when she learned of this. Jane had plans for her life, and she was uncomfortable over what this sudden reward would mean to her. It did not matter that the inheritance was something that was priceless, unique, one of a kind. No, instead of being happy about the inheritance, Jane was troubled. You could even say that Jane was annoyed. Jane did not want her life disrupted by this sudden turn of events.

So instead of welcoming and embracing this wonderful inheritance, Jane looked for a way to get rid of it. Jane reasoned that if only she could destroy the inheritance, then she could get back to her carefully planned out life.

Now, there were hundreds of thousands of people in the world who would have given anything for such an inheritance -- people whose very dreams were made up of the chance to one day experience the reward that had been given to Jane. But to Jane the great inheritance held no interest and no value whatsoever.

Interestingly, Jane was also very selfish about her inheritance. Although she did not want the inheritance, she did not want anyone else to have it either. After all, it was hers to do what she wanted to do with it, or so she thought. No, Jane would rather destroy the inheritance, forget that she had ever even received it, and then just get back to her normal life. For, you see, Jane was a busy woman. She had places to go and things to accomplish, and nothing was going to rearrange the fabulous plans that she had for herself.

So Jane hired a man to help her get rid of her inheritance. Together they destroyed any evidence that this reward had ever been given to her. They tore the inheritance into as many tiny pieces as they could and threw it into the garbage can.

Now, you might be wondering what kind of story is this. Who would want to get rid of something priceless, something that is sought after by hundreds of thousands of people? You might be thinking that Jane must have been crazy or something.

But you know what? Many of us are just like Jane. At one time or another many of us were given something priceless, something one of a kind. We were given an inheritance that we did not deserve and could not take credit for. But instead of being thankful and treasuring our reward, we destroyed it because it did not fit into the plans we had for our lives. We made an appointment with a man, drove out to a place, and laid back idly while our inheritance was torn into tiny pieces and thrown into the garbage can. So many of us have done it that there is even a common name for it. It is called having an abortion.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:35, "Lo, children are a heritage (inheritance) of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward."

What have you done with your God-given inheritance? Did your reward from the Lord get torn apart and thrown out at some clinic as though it was just worthless garbage?

Are you on the Lord's side?

Have you been set free from Egypt (the world)? Were you once a slave to sin but now you have become a follower of Jesus Christ, someone who is on their way to the Promised Land (heaven)? Have you left behind all of the "trappings" of your old life and are you now trusting in the Lord, obedient to His direction and commands, and sensitive that you do not do those things that would be offensive to God Almighty?

What if your church or family or friends said to you, "Hey, let's make a golden calf in commemoration to all that God has done for us." And then after they fashioned their golden calf, they took it and placed it on an altar and then announced, "Tomorrow let's make a feast to the Lord. We will rise up early and offer burnt offerings and peace offerings (presents) here at this golden calf altar. And then we will eat and drink and enjoy each other's company"? Would you go along with the activities? Sure, it's a ritual that has pagan origins and similarities, but you are devoting your feast to the Lord and doing it in His honor. So what do you say? Are you in? Would you go along with your church, your family, and your friends? Of course you would not. Right?

Well, there was a group of people who long ago were faced with this very scenario. They were the Israelites whom God had led out of captivity in Egypt. They were on their way to the Promised Land. All they had to do was trust and obey God, and He was going to do great and mighty things in their lives.

But there came a time when someone came up with the bright idea of making a golden calf (Exodus 32:1-4). The Israelites had previously been taught God's command that they were not to make graven images nor bow down to them nor serve them (Exodus 20:4-5), but they were planning on doing it anyway. They had witnessed with their own eyes the wickedness of Egypt with its false gods and pagan religious rituals, yet here they were emulating the very people whom God was trying to separate and set them free from.

It is true that they tried to "clean up" and make holy what they were about to do by offering the calf and festivities to the Lord. The bible reads, "And when Aaron saw it [the golden calf], he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast to the Lord. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play." (Exodus 32:5-6) But do you think God wanted their pagan-inspired calf? Do you think God said, "Well, they scratched off Molech's name and replaced it with my name, so that makes it all right"? Of course not! God was not pleased at all. Let's read just how unpleased God was with the Israelites for doing this thing:

Exodus 32:7-8, "And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt." Yes, God was most certainly unpleased with this "act of worship." The Israelites were trying to exchange the truth of God for a lie, and they were trying to fit true holy worship and devotion into some satanic world-inspired worship, and God wanted to have nothing to do with it or them! God said that the people had corrupted themselves in doing this thing.

..................................

Now, you may be sitting there saying, "Well, I would have never taken part in something like that anyway. I know better." Do you? Are you sure you haven't already been doing this very same thing?

As I was reading this bible account in Exodus, I was struck with how similar these actions by the Israelites are to something that Christians around the world do every year. Christians take something that they know has evil origins, satanic beginnings, and pagan roots, and they change the name of it around, tack on a couple sweet-sounding platitudes, and proclaim that "It's a day of honor to the Lord." What am I talking about? I'm talking about the yearly celebration of Christmas.

The origins of "Christmas" and the traditions of it are widely known by the world to have derived from the pagan Romans and their "Feast of Saturnalia" in honor of their god Saturn. Everything from gift exchanging, evergreen trees, mistletoe, tree decorating, yule logs, and holly and ivy traces back to this satanic ritual the early Romans practiced. The pagan festival was celebrated December 17th - 24th, culminating on the 25th with a new celebration. If you don't believe me, look in any Encyclopedia. Or even just type in the words, "Christmas Origins" on the internet, and you will find this information out for yourself. (You can also go here to read all of this history in depth).

And Christians everywhere have picked up right where the Romans left off, without skipping a beat. Yes, in spite of having knowledge of Christmas' sordid beginnings, stiffnecked, rebellious Christians insist on doing just like the Israelites, and they turn this golden calf from Satan himself into something they worship as unto the Lord.

Friend, you might think that your Christmas carols and candle-lit services and nativity scenes are paying homage to God, but those things are noise and so much rubbish. All of it is truly offensive to the very One you claim to be honoring.

And it doesn't matter if the WHOLE congregation, or EVERY member of your family, or ALL of the people that you know are participating in some kind of Christmas celebration, that still does not make it right. God wants us to live holy, righteous, obedient lives. He doesn't want us caught up in mass ignorance and idolatry. If you put a pig in a tuxedo, you still have a pig. And if you take that which is dung and set it in a box and gift wrap it, it still is dung, AND IT STILL STINKS! You cannot make what is unholy holy, and God does not want that which has been offered to devils given to Him as homage. The Lord didn't want Israel's golden calf, and He doesn't want your "Jesus is the reason for the season" nonsense!

Furthermore, we are not given ANY information on the day or month of Jesus' birth, NOR are we told to pay special tribute or to acknowledge or celebrate any birthday for the Lord. But we ARE told to be separate and apart from the world. We ARE told to not do those things that the heathen do. We ARE told to hate evil, (not to emulate it).

2 Corinthians 6:16-18, "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate; saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

Jeremiah 10:2, "Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen..."

Judges 2:2, "And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?"

Ephesians 5:11, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

Psalm 97:10, "Ye that love the Lord, hate evil."

1 Corinthians 10:21, "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."
